Brush 6
With most of our southern response area being heavily wooded, the department decided to purchase a small brush unit in 2018. Brush 6 is a 2018 Ford F-550/Skeeter Brush Truck. Even with its small size, Brush 6 still carries all of the necessary tools and equipment for any wild land emergency. The department is also looking into possibly purchasing a few more brush units in the future as well.
Rescue 7
Along with Brush 6 the Brick Haven Fire Department decided to purchase a 2018 Polaris Ranger as Rescue 7. Rescue 7 is specifically designed to handle all medical calls where no other rig can reach. Rescue 7 can also respond to the long stretches of coastline and many public beaches in the town if needed as well.
